Why Does My Damon AI Face or Framing Look Different?
← All practical guides · Result troubleshooting
What kind of difference should I check first?
These checks address the input and the requested scene, not a guaranteed fix. The model still generates new frames and may introduce details that were not present in the reference.
| What you see | What to check | A practical next action |
|---|---|---|
| Face changes during motion | Blur, heavy filters, hidden eyes | Use a sharp, less filtered portrait |
| Head or chin is cropped | Very tight crop in the source | Leave more space around the head and shoulders |
| Output is not the shape expected | Square or landscape input | Use a portrait source and preview the final crop |
| Walking shot looks awkward | Face-only source with no body context | Try a head-to-waist photo or a close-up scene |
| Two faces are confused | Group shot or uneven references | Use 2 clear individual photos in Me + someone mode |
Should I change the photo or the scene?
Change the photo if the face itself is unclear; change the scene if the action needs context the photo does not show. A tight portrait is better suited to an eye reveal than a full walking sequence, while a wider portrait provides more context for a walk.
The custom setting changes the environment requested by the prompt. It is not a manual face editor or a way to force an exact shot-by-shot copy. Avoid adding several conflicting locations or actions to a short custom description.
Does every new attempt use another 20 credits?
Yes. A new generation request uses 20 credits. Automatic credit returns apply to a confirmed generation failure, not to every completed clip whose artistic result you want to change.
Inspect the completed video before starting another attempt. Change one useful input at a time, such as the photo crop or the selected scene, so you know what you are trying to improve. For a purchase issue or a result you are unhappy with, consult the refund policy and contact support with the order reference.
Can an editor fix the result after download?
An editor can adjust the crop, trim the clip and add text or audio. It cannot reliably restore a changed face or details that the generated file never contained. Avoid enlarging a small facial region and expecting a 720p source to become sharper.
Treat the video as AI-generated media and review it before sharing. Only use permitted photos, do not upload cast portraits, and do not imply that a generated scene is real footage or official Vampire Diaries content.
