The Damon Edit or Replace My Namesake: Which Scene Should I Pick?
← All practical guides · Scene planning
What is different about the 2 presets?
These are scene prompts, not two original reference videos being replayed with a face changed. The AI creates new frames, so timing, pose, locations and likeness can vary. Neither preset supplies original TV footage or songs.
| Preset | Requested sequence | Choose it when |
|---|---|---|
| The Damon Edit | Candlelit smirk, fog walk, vampire-eye close-up | You want several dark fan-edit motifs in one short clip |
| Replace My Namesake | Bright church aisle, confident close-up, sunglasses gesture | You want the church-entrance variation |
How much action fits into a 10-second edit?
Keep the central idea simple. Both presets ask for several visual beats within 10 seconds, so a clear subject and a single overall mood give the model a more coherent brief than many competing instructions.
If you mainly want the eye transformation, select Vampire Face Reveal instead of expecting a walking montage to behave like a dedicated close-up. If you want two people, choose Me + someone and a supported brothers or couple scene rather than placing two people in a solo photo.
Which photo should I pair with each scene?
Use a clear portrait with visible eyes for either preset. A head-to-waist photo supplies more body context for a walk, while a closer portrait can suit a face reveal. JPG, PNG and WebP uploads can be up to 10 MB each.
The input influences composition. A portrait photo is the better starting point for a vertical social post, but exact 9:16 framing is not guaranteed. Preview the finished video before adding captions or music.
Do the 2 presets have different prices?
No. Each generation uses 20 credits, regardless of which supported preset you choose. One-time packs cost $8.90 for 1 video, $22.90 for 3, or $49.90 for 8. Signing in does not provide a free preview or free credits.
Choose the scene before generating, because making another version is a new 20-credit request. Download the completed silent MP4, then add an audio option you may use inside TikTok, Reels or your editor.
